Honestly...that is not as good as it could be, but UCLA is more of a basketball school than a football school. Also their home venue is the Rose Bowl which is problematic for two reasons. 1. the Rose Bowl is their home stadium which is 27 miles from the campus. In comparison USC is .6 miles from the Coliseum. There is no doubt that such a distance is a problem for UCLA's students getting to the game. 2. The Rose Bowl is not a great place to watch football especially from the end zone seats. I went to the game the year UCLA destroyed BYU right after Detmer left. It was a horrific game, but made worse by the seats. We were 10 rows from the field in the end zone and i felt like i was miles away.
