I found this interesting and it brought to mind a conversation I had last year at the Las Vegas Bowl. I had the chance to chat with a former BYU DL who had played for a short time in the NFL (I'm sure you can draw conclusions as to who it was). He said that when he got to the NFL, he was shocked by his lack of knowledge when it came to some basic technique. He said he had never once learned it while at BYU. He didn't feel that Coach Kaufusi did a great job of teaching basic technique to the D-lineman.
