Sure...and Utah has a first down in FG range

The safety's job has always been to separate the ball from the WR in that situation. I agree that a guy shouldn't come in like a missile with his helmet as a weapon. But what are safeties supposed to do now? Just concede the seam routes?

Applying Rugby rules would make players jumping to catch the ball untouchable as long as they were in the air.
