Do people remember the Heaps days? There were a lot of drops with him as well.

They stopped as soon as the change to Riley was made. Why? Tough to say but we know there was internal discord at the time.

IMO the team didn't believe in Jake and it showed in their performance. Riley lit a fire under their butts and they started hauling in passes because he was an actual leader and they believed they could win with him. It's not "right" but it is reality ofttimes in sports.
