Exactly, on NCAA 2014 you can move teams between conferences

so I loaded a 2012 roster someone had made and I put BYU in the SEC.

I started a coaching career and amassed over 150 wins with 0 losses and more straight championships than I can remember.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly how it would play out in real life too.
