Bronco wanted to keep a coach from the previous staff for a little bit of continuity. Someone that knew the players, etc. Bronco liked the WR coach at UVA Best, as he was also a former player that knew not only the players but the fans, program, and history. I also think Bronco thought that Holliday would stay at BYU as he came to love the state, had a new house, and had done a good job getting his foot in the TX door a little bit for us. However, as I said, Sitake wanted a BYU staff, and Ty could more than compensate for the TX connection Holliday provided.
