The last time it seems like they failed to do any actual data collection. Instead, the collection seemed to be based on relationships only (i.e. the TCU drinking story and the push by Oliver Luck for WVU). That said, I don't know enough about their previous process to know for sure. They were nearly as transparent as they are this time around.
