As far as whether its an advantage, just look at BYU. Who have been the best players from BYU in the past and how many of them went on missions. Recent names KVN, Ziggy, Fua, Uoni Unga, Hoffman, Leslie, Ryker Matthews, Manoa Pikula, De'Ondre Wesley, Robertson Daniel (these are the guys that have been or are on NFL rosters or practice squads). You have Kaufusi, Sorenson, Mitch Matthews, Paul Lasike and Dennis Pitta. Why aren't there more RM's in the NFL if it is such and advantage?

Even this year our best players aren't RM's: Warner x2, Davis, Nacua, Kurtz, Koroma, Jamaal. That is our best player from every position besides DL, TE, and QB (arguable some of our weakest position groups this year).
