Yea I saw that. I don't disagree with you,
but if Bronco was being honest about misunderstanding the clock time left, then it wasn't really the call that was bad. The damage was certainly worse though.
True story - when they called the timeout I turned to my son and joked that they called it in order to put in a fake punt play. He smirked, and then my other son said "well at least no one would EVER suspect that." It was so ridiculous we really didn't even really laugh about the suggestion.
A minute later we all looked at each other after the play was over and couldn't believe what had just happened.
Maybe I have special powers??
