It DOESN'T MATTER that it didn't hurt the team. That is dumb luck.
It was a epicly stupid play call either from the coaches or letting the players make the decision on the field.
Yes, we avoided giving Boise 3 or 7 points, but the play call gave Boise the opportunity for an easy red zone attempt. Boise got that attempt without earning it.
It was such a bad call, people are talking about it nationally. That is not the PR you want.
