That was not necessarily a knock on the coaching decision, I am just saying that comparing BYU to Nebraska is not necessarily apples to apples. They are playing a 4 year starter this year as a senior QB. When programs have magical seasons, it is often when they have a multi-year starter playing as a senior.
That was supposed to be us this year, but no matter how you want to spin it, Hill has hardly been magical (blame it on o-line, receivers, whatever).
Tanner might be good next year, but he won't have the luxury of a full year of playing in the system as prep for next year, so I wouldn't compare it to Nebraskas 2016 season.
