Forget the naysayers - I like your optimism on the players, but I suspect that
this group of players will want to accomplish something really significant at this level before they go their separate ways. Just a gut feeling on the type of players they are, and the things they've been through together. Much like a platoon of soldiers (but to a smaller degree, of course), any group of people that experience emotional and meaningful things together (like the LP guys did in HS) tend to bond in a way that can't be attained any other way. For that reason, I suspect they're likely to do something really big at this level before all is said and done.
