However, divisions lead to scenarios where the CCG is #1 v. #3 or even #4.
For instance, let's say that WVU and Baylor in one division and Oklahoma and OSU in the other.
B12 championship game might be 11-1 WVU versus 9-3 Oklahoma. If Oklahoma wins that championship game, you now have a 3-loss Big 12 champion. Good luck getting into the CFP.
