...and blanket the perimeter. in the past we'd have 4's like Nate Austin or Josh Sharp go virtually unguarded by the defense because they posed no threat when the shot clock was running down and BYU was trying to find an open shooter. I think Nate Austin could have and should have done more to look for his shot in this context but was too content to just set picks around the perimeter and high post and move the ball around.
Having a guy like Dastrup combined with low post threats will really help BYU when they're in the half court set and force defenses to guard everyone or make them pay when they cheat.
