wanted to at least see what Mangum could do earlier in the year.
As much as we mostly all agree that Hill wasn't the quarterback he once was, we all mostly agree that even the most anti Hill reading of what happened on offense would show that his play wasn't the only problem.
How about this? If Mangum does really well, why don't you console yourself with the thought that the coaches may have had a legitimate concern that Mangum could make it through the year without getting beat up given the inexperience of the offensive line and what we lost at the receiver positions? Then, why don't you shift your focus toward enthusiasm for next year?
