Nah, but I did a quick search to find similar cheap shot injuries
in the NBA. The most i could find was 11 stitches. Stuff like that (40 stitches) just never happens without full intent to harm. Malone and Stockton were dirty like the Pistons. Stockton was smart about it, Malone was not always smart about it. People could get under his skin. I also like Stockton and Malone, but I think it is fair to call things out on both sides.
