Did Emery tell TJ that they couldn't be friends anymore? Did he threaten to kick TJ out of the "LP3" and replace him? Is that what you mean by leveraged?

TJ made a bad pass and put it where the offside defender had a better chance at grabbing it than Emery did. (Emery had decent position.) But it was a play meant to get the the defense to collapse around Emery. If TJ gets that ball into Emery, LJ has a 3/open lane to drive or TJ with a decent look at 3 as well. It's sad that you automatically assume Emery was somehow demanding the ball so he alone could score.
