A little due diligence on your part would be appreciated, but then again it just
reflect poorly on you. Not your fanbase, but you as a person.

1) I'll highlight a few quotes in case you can't bring yourself to actually do some research:

Thompson-Williams has embraced BYU ever since Jamaal committed to come to Provo, even though the family members are not members of the LDS Church, which owns the university. She said that was never a big factor in having her son become a Cougar.

"We didn't think about the school being a Mormon school or going to Provo," Thompson-Williams said. "I don't think he considered any of that and it didn't even come up until after he actually committed to BYU. Then everyone was like, 'Did you know that is a Mormon school?' I don't think that really had any impact on his decision."

2) She explained that going to a religious school wasn't a big factor because Jamaal grew up going to the Christian schools.

"You want to go to school to get an education and you have to follow the rules or whatever the regulations are for each school," Thompson-Williams said. "Jamaal liked the BYU campus. It was clean. He liked Utah because it was quiet and pretty. There were a lot of things that went into his decision to commit to BYU."

3) There were some who wondered whether Jamaal would be back with the Cougars in 2016 after he took a year off for personal reasons but Thompson-Williams said that wasn't a question in her mind

"It was something we never wandered from," Thompson-Williams said. "One of the big things for him was to get his college degree. No. 2 is that loyalty is a really big thing with Jamaal, with all of our family. He lives by that so when he commits to something, he's committed. He committed to play at BYU and he never wandered from that. He just wanted to get back on the field, to graduate and play his last year at BYU."

4) There have been plenty of interviews where Jamaal has expressed his love for BYU and the fanbase even though he doesn't subscribe to the LDS faith. Please expound on the exploitation of inner city minorities. Your random opinion does not equal fact.
