He told me that both sides knew many of the plays the other was going to run. He said that the entire BYU sideline would have a pretty good idea, based off of personnel, situation and formation, what play was going to be run. He said it all came down to execution and that Utah just out executed us down the stretch.
I talked to a different player after the 2011 game. He didn't play in the game but when he was asked if we were going to win, he said "you think (might mess up the name) Blair Tashuas is stopping Star? No way".
That's the real gist of why we've been losing. Watch the line of scrimmage the last several years. We have been getting owned at the LOS for years. I think Bronco was smart enough to realize this years ago, but the truth of the matter is it takes 2-3 years to fix a neglected position at most programs by the time you start recruiting the guys that can fix it amd then get to school and then add another 2-3 years at BYU because of missions.
