I went to US News because that is so frequently cited here on CB for why BYU is "so much" better than the U.

In that table there are 20+ rankings where both schools offer the same program or are compared in the same overall ranking. You completely ignored that. I don't ignore "real world experience" but you are a single data point, a biased one at that.

I am not tearing down BYU in this, BYU is a good school. I am pointing out some of the fallacies that get repeated here about Utah. Saying them over and over again don't make them true.
