BYU lost quite a few players that should have/would have become contributors prematurely in its early WCC days just after Jimmer graduated. Attrition of quality players included Damarcus Harrison (transfer), Chris Collinsworth (injury), Steven Rogers (injury), and Frank Bartley (transfer). If you added some of these players with experience in Rose's system to the Tyler Haws/Kyle Collinsworth teams then I think BYU would have been much better the last 5 years. The Haws/Collinsworth teams had zero depth and inexperience was a problem (obviously nothing like it is for this year's team).
