Corvallis may not have the history or be a big time program, but it definitely has a family feel to their program. It also appears to be improving with Gary Anderson there. The renovation and addition to the facilities is a huge upgrade from what it was.

Corvallis itself is a nice town. Not necessarily a ton to do, but definitely has a college town feel.
