where assistant coaches are doing most of the actual coaching, and the head coach just oversees everything. It's basketball. Not without its complexities, but a much simpler game. If the problem is coaching, then the problem is Dave Rose. Period. I can't remember an assistant coach having any real meaningful effect on how we played in HS. They're largely just cheerleaders.
