we went to the NCAA Tourney 7 times during that span and had 3 first round wins...Credit Roger Reid. He was an assistant on two of those trips and head coach for 5 of those trips. Even further Reid qualified for the NCAA tournament 5 times during his 7 years, winning twice in the first round. He also won the WAC conference tournament twice, beating two really good Utah and UTEP teams who had NBA talent, something Rose has failed to do in 10 plus years.

There is nothing unprecedented about what Rose has done, other than having a higher winning percentage in the regular season, and I think the WCC schedule has certainly helped with that percentage of late.
