I bought in on the Kool Aid when I saw the first few games. They looked like a promising team with a high ceiling. Then I watched the Valpo game and noticed horrible defense, poor shot selection, and poor coaching. After the UVU game, I realized the team had serious flaws. I learned my lesson. Never buy into the Kool Aid with BYU basketball. I've learned the hard way with BYU football.
So even though you think your clever, I'm no different with my expectations than most fans are and the fact was that we were all being fed by the media and the coaches that this was going to be a very talented team. I bought into it hook, line, and sinker in the beginning of the season and have realized after watching so many Futile efforts from Rose, his coaching staff, and the players that BYU will never make a final four and a sweet sixteen is an absolute long shot every year. Am I not able to evolve in my opinion after watching BYU underperform and not meet expectations of at least an NCAA bid with the suppposed talent we had from 4 top 100 recruits coming into the program and playing this year?
