get conned.
When we first went Indy, we were signing straight 2 for 1's with the likes of Norte dame because we have no clout. We bemoaned the fact that we were only able to get home patsies. We worried if good teams would really visit BYU.
Fast forward and we've had UCLA, Mississippi State, Virginia and Texas visit our stadium. We are also set to host Wisconsin this coming season. If you look ahead to future seasons we have even more good home games coming.
The fact that we just signed Tennessee for a straight home and home with no neutral game advantageous to the other teams location tells me we're progressing with scheduling. It is a very slow processs of raising our profile and gaining a reputation as a tough game that increases the clout with the playoff committee, we didn't have the luxury of just elevating to P5 status, but I think we're getting better and better at it. I think taking 2 for 1's with big teams was the first step, then getting H/H/N, and now we're seeing H/H happen with good teams often with the road game first, but the next step is to get H/H with a 50/50 mix of R/H and H/R. I think given the way our scheduling has improved that we will get there.
