Cougs rocked in the rebound department tonight. Outboarded Prtlnd 45-23 total & 17-6 on offensive boards. Strong night.
Shaw was right in the thick of it with 11 rebounds. Aytes only played 11 minutes and got 4 rebounds.
Shaw made 2 of 3 shots, one of them on that slick non-hesitation pass from Mika. Still would have liked to see him take a couple more shots.
Also nice to see Beo take more shots. He hit 5/11. That's the kind of bench play this team badly needs. Keep shooting Beo!
Portland took 43 foul shots? 43? . . . . . to BYU's 23? Something kind of fishy there.
