Tom may very well be trying to spread good home games out through 2019 and beyond to create attractive TV inventory for ESPN come contract renegotiation time. 2019 has Utah, Washington, USC, and Boise already on the home docket that year. Our TV deal runs out after 2018, so TH's primary concern is probably to get the best home games he can whenever he can so we are in a better negotiating position next year. That TV deal is THE most important thing on his plate right now and is critical to keeping us relevant in the long term. We may not like some aspects of scheduling, but TH is doing a magnificent job at positioning the program for the future.
