Nothing wrong with pointing out that things aren't perfect. Otherwise nothing would ever improve. Taking offense and creating conflict is different. Don't see anything wrong with what these kids are saying. Would be nice if it were not true, but the world is not perfect. I think the problem here is the Tribune obviously cherry-picking stories that reflect poorly on BYU. While the story is fine I doubt it would be in the Tribune were it another school.
Gotta admit, though, that it's been interesting to hear a bunch of white guys explain why these black kids who go to BYU are wrong about what it's like to be a black kid at BYU.
