I want to commend you on taking the time to come to a BYU message board, go through the process of making a screenname, and showing respect to an opponent that just beat a very talented Gonzaga team. This is what true sportsmanship is all about, and you my friend, are pure class. Both groups of fans can take your example to heart, and try and emulate it in the future.

Gonzaga is the real deal, and I have liked them well before BYU joined the WCC. I am a diehard Utah Jazz fan, in addition to my Coug fandom, and thank Gonzaga every night for the gift of the best pointguard to ever play the game. John Stockton started my love of basketball being played the right way, and I am glad to see that his hand is definitely still involved with Coach Few in producing a great product.
Watching these schools play each other last night, was a pure gift to the country. I know that Zag fans were not happy with your shooting percentages, but I saw 2 teams playing with heart on both sides. This BYU team reminds me a little of some of the Bulldogs teams from a few years ago, that were young and just starting to get multiple higher ranked high school kids to sign with them. Originally, I was not thrilled with joining the WCC, due to the small gyms and weaker bottom 2/3 of the conference, but now I really enjoy the fun rivalries with Gonzaga, Saint Marys, and LMU. Even some of the other teams have began to step up their programs thanks in large part to Coach Few's calling them out to do their part to help the top 3 schools make tge conference viable for nationwide respect. Your team could hang with any big 5 conference, and even though I hope for one more Zag loss to BYU in Vegas; I am cheering for you all in the big dance.
