BYU was extremely lucky to score in that sequence simply because Emery's air ball missed the rim by so much that Mika caught it like a pass and scored -- with 7 seconds still left on the shot clock!

I'm not sure why you're defending that shot selection, it was absolutely ridiculous.

Emery obviously has the talent and potential to be a great player, but the unforced mental errors are crippling his game. Rose should have benched him for a few minutes after that one, but he didn't -- and that's a big part of the problem.
