I watch a lot of ball. I am okay with some rational criticism, but frankly, most of those calling for a change don't know what they're talking about. I was not a huge Bronco fan, nor a Bronco hater.... Was pleased with the change to KS.

I will be surprised if this group of players with this group of coaches and assistants isn't a solid tournament team for the next 2-3 years. This year with nearly all of the minutes going to freshmen and sophomores (many of which hadn't had played for two years) it isn't shocking to have some bad losses. I was anticipating/ hoping for a better year, but with some self reflection - realized I was wearing my blue googles.

Most of the critics don't appreciate the recruiting success of Rose. With the limitations BYU has it would be tough to do any better. Much of their core could have gone to big programs in major conferences.

Also doubt that there is any coach, who would or could come to BYU who could do better than Rose. He isn't perfect, but is a solid coach, respected by his peers, who has had remarkable success over a decade. IMO he has earned a long leash and at present he doesn't really need to use it.
