Question for you season tix holders who've also traveled to lots of road venues
Every year I'm surprised at how passive our fans in the MC are (except the ROC, of course). In the section I'm in I'm surrounded largely by people that never stand, rarely cheer or get into the game verbally, and a lot of the time the place feels dead even if there are 13,000 people in seats. Sometimes I feel like we need a season ticket section devoted to people who are willing to actually cheer, make noise when we're playing defense, and generally show interest. As it is, most of the energy (when there is any at all) is reserved for scowling and griping about officiating, expressing dismay with our coaches, or complaining about our whipping boy of the day. Those things have their place and I understand them, but when it's all we've got, it makes for a pretty lame environment.

Are we any different than other arenas of decent size?
