TJ Haws is 1st team all conference isn't a joke. Count me absolutely baffled

They name 10 guys "first team" which is weird math to me. But anyway, Haws as first team.....good for him. But that completely surprises me. I knew he was having a good season by freshmen standards, but good enough to be 1st team all conference never, ever, crossed my mind. I did think it was realistic he would make freshmen team.
Is the WCC that weak this year or were most on CB just way to hard on TJ calling him a disappointment, another guy saying he was a flop, should be benched etc? And no mention of Emery, even Honorable Mention does surprise me.
To be clear I am not ripping Haws, and was one who pretty consistently supported him, but 1st team all conference never crossed my mind.
