Hard fouls and straight up cheap shots when it doesn't matter any longer.....

are hardly the same thing. If you aren't good enough to win, or keep a guy from getting a dunk attempt, so you resort to cheap shots that could actually injure a player, then you are a lowclass hack of a player with no business being on the court with good players. Basically you're a yewt at that point.
