If these kids were at our junior high, I'd say the drama classes are a waste of time, whereas the band teacher is awesome. I'm not anti drama either--all 3 of my girls have been in every production they could do. But unless your drama teacher is just amazing, I'd say the class itself is a waste of time.

Let your granddaughter know she doesn't have to take drama to be in the school plays.
