If we had had a guy of Frank Bartley's athleticism covering the top of the perimeter this year our defense woulda been SIGNIFICANTLY better.

And I'm not saying that our coaches don't deserve criticism for the defensive effort & product this year. They certainly do. But between our personnel, our inexperience, & our conditioning/health issues, our D had as much of an uphill battle to succeed as our O did this season. Our guys were just in no condition to run on teams like coach Rose would prefer we did. And that reality effects the D just as much as it does the O.
