Grammar Nazi time: when did the incorrect phrase "graduated college" or "graduated high school" become popular? And why?
In the last few years I've seen an explosion of this phrase. It's everywhere. Do people really think this is correct? There should be a FROM in there.

Wrong: "Me and Emma Lou graduated high school together afore we was married."
Right: "I graduated from Brigham Young University last fall."
