I have ZERO inside info. But I imagine the phrase "running back by committee"
Is a good way to keep veteren upper classmen happy as you work into the rotation the freshman who is your future at the postion. IOW, everyone will get reps and we'll watch the cream rise to the top. Then when he does, he'll slowly take over the top spot and command most reps.
