You're worried that this would increase the chance of shootings and that they
the perpetrators would be justified in doing so? Because this law doesn't change the legal requirements for self defense. They still have a right to self defense at sporting events.
If they aren't using metal detectors to remove fans with concealed firearms, then this doesn't actually change the current situation at games.
