Eric Mika is going to learn real quick and should have already learned that he needs another year. I am not going to do my research but rely on my short memory. If I remember right Mika was shut down against USC, SanDiego (away), Saint Mary's (away), Santa Clara (away), Gonzaga (home), Pepperdine (away), LMU (away) and had problems with the bigs that had seniority on him and a few young ones too. There is more to this than arguably our best big man in years wants to get a big payday. If Mika had a coach that was an Alex Jensen or a Mark Pope he would stay at least one more year if not 2. He is not being developed and helped by current staff. Down the road we will have the truth come out and I bet that the current coaching staff has something to do with this. I know that Rose brought the LP3 in but has not developed them with this coaching staff. The word out on the street is that this staff got lucky to have Jimmer and now cannot contend with the likes of Saint Mary's and Gonzaga until new blood is brought in. My vote is to bring back Dave Rice. Go get him from Nevada.
