First of all, dang that was cold. Last week I was down to St George and got sun burned. Freaking Utah Spring lol.
I parked in the west lot. Kind of felt cool, no way could I ever park there for a real game lol.
The practice was good. I think the coaches were holding back on some of the projected starters for precautionary purposes, but all in all guys were flying around and getting good reps. I like our defense. Despite Mangum and our O Line being bigger I'm not sure how our RB's and WR's will do. Should be ok.
One thing that was cool was I saw an old buddy from my mission there who now coaches HS ball. He's not a BYU fan at all but wanted to check out the scrimmage. He said he thinks Kalani's got things moving in the right direction and said he hopes BYU gets into the Big 12. Me too lol. No, but it's cool seeing non BYU fans coming out. I call that the "Kalani effect".
