Because an agent will do nothing for him the next 43 days except take away precious time from basketball & school.
I think he is very likely going. Don't know anyone who says he is gone no matter what.
In the unlikely event that he underperforms at the NBA Combine, odds would increase for his possible return, but still......
Seljaas might announce that he is rejoining the team by then, making the prospects look more inviting.
So his choice is hire an agent and get no added value at best, or follow the rules for testing the waters if there is any chance at all he might want to return to BYU.

How are his work outs going to work w/ the NBA teams? Does Mika pay for everything (flights, hotels, meals)
