On average my employees call out sick once a month. I've never met someone who gets sick once a month. And it usually happened on Friday or Monday, so that was interesting. Obviously they were taking advantage of our policy that you could just take off if you were sick. But for an office that relies completely on people showing up for work when they're expected to, it has made for some very long stressful days. No people aren't showing up sick now. They were never sick before.
