Wouldn't be considered more success? Sloans success was pretty amazing considering the market that he coached in for most of his career. You can claim that someone else would have done a better job but I don't see it. He wasn't perfect but I would take those years of success back in a heart beat. Being able to be a contender for many years seems so far away right niw
