BYU would only need to increase the average ticket price by $12-18 per game
to make up the difference for what BYU gets from ESPN media deal ($800K to $1.2M per game).

BYU could probably charge $25-50 more per individual ticket or $150-300 per season ticket (on the average) if we had a home schedule of mostly PAC, B1G, and SEC opponents. This means that BYU could actually make more money from the quality of the schedule than through a media deal with ESPN.

What if BYU broadcasts all home games on BYUTV and let PAC, SEC, B1G, and ACC teams have concurrent rights to broadcast the Provo games on their respective conference networks?

Is ESPN exposure (with a weaker schedule and poor time slots) still more valuable than a full slate of P5 opponents and Saturday afternoon kickoffs?
