Granted this happened 20+ years ago now, but my dad took us there as we were driving through coming out to Utah. He had spent a lot of time in Vernal growing up because my Grandpa was a geologist and did a lot of work out there.

Anyway, we stop, order a bunch of Chicken Fried Steak meals. The food comes out, and we dig in. Unfortunately, the Chicken Fried Steak was raw on the top and burned on the bottom...for all of us. I'm not sure how you can do that, but they did that there.

We all lost our appetites. Never stopped back in Vernal because of that.
