Eat tapas and some suggestions
There are many restaurants that serve tapas, which are small plates of food. You order a few small plates for your meal and can share.

Barcelona is one of my favorite cities. I love the Gaudi stuff. Parc Guell is a favorite as well as Sagrada Famillia. Make sure you keep an eye on your belongings especially on the Ramblas and Gothic Quarter, but those areas are cool to see as well.

If you have time, go to the top of Tibadabo where there is a church with a status of Christ with his arms outstretched overlooking the city. There is a small amusement park at Tiabadabo too, but there is a really good theme park an hour south called Port Aventura. They are also building a Ferrai Land theme park next to Port Aventura.

Last year I drove from Barcelona to Carcassone, France and then spent the next day in Girona, which has a great old town.

I prefer to leave my car at the hotel and just take the subway, bus or walk in Barcelona. Driving in the city center can be frightening.
