How many times have byu and Utah players' kids gone to the opposite school of their parents? It happens all the time.

With the exception of maybe Bronco and a few others, the players and coaches are friendly with one another and have a positive relationship. The Mahe/Tate catastrophe recently highlighted this. Steve Tate hated byu fans, but I don't think he hated the football-playing community.

They want their kids to succeed. That's why Murphy and Covey are cool going to Utah. Why Steve Marshall was cool with his son Matt going to byu. Why the Kaufusis have been all over the place.

Fans take it way more personal.
