I don't think they'll be anywhere close to as dominant, especially to start the season. They just lost way too many big guys for them. Including guys who could have left the year before but stayed. Not saying they're the next Michigan State with their D, but maybe their own "Mich St" in an LSU type of way. In relation to how LSU defenses might typically be. I guess that doesn't completely make sense though because that previous MSU D was as legit as any.
Shoot, if anything, LSU's defense last year might be somewhat of an outlier compared to previous years, not the norm.
